We are so excited to share that, beginning September 2026, we are opening up our PULSE Productions stream to children in Kindergarten to Grade 2 with the launch of our exciting new Musical Theatre Production class:

PULSE PRE-PRODUCTION MINI PLAYERS
Kindergarten to Grade 2
This exciting new class is designed especially for our youngest performers and gives them the chance to experience the magic of being part of a PULSE production in a fun, age-appropriate, and accessible way.

Throughout the season, our Mini Players will learn a 30-minute version of the full show, created just for their age group. They will sing and dance in approximately 5–7 musical numbers, help tell the story through acting and character work, and build confidence as they learn what it means to be part of a cast. Mini Players will also experience the excitement of show week, including a tech rehearsal at The ACT Theatre in Maple Ridge, and will perform in one evening show for family and friends for each production.

And yes — they will perform with the magic of our full-scale, professional-quality sets and costumes, giving them a real theatre experience without the heavy commitment of extra rehearsals! This program has been designed with young children and busy families in mind. Dancers will not miss school, will not be required at the theatre for hours at a time, and there will be no long dress rehearsals or Sunday rehearsals. Our goal is to give them the joy and excitement of a real production experience in a way that feels fun, manageable, and age-appropriate.
