PULSE Productions - Musical Theatre Program is one of our most special programs at our Port Coquitlam Studio! This is a class for students who love to be onstage, sing, act & dance. Any student ages five to seventeen can join the class regardless of previous experience or ability as all levels are challenged and accommodated.

 

Singing, choreography, movement, improvisation, audition preparation and character development will be incorporated into this performance-based class, set in a positive group format. Auditions for roles takes place in September once the class has commenced. Every student receives a role and shows are divided up into two casts, so there can be more opportunity for more students. 

 

Three highly professional and talented instructors teach these classes at all times. They specialize in Musical Theatre, Voice and Dance Training and collectively have over thirty years experience in the classroom. Not only do they bring with them years of knowledge, all have and continue to perform professionally throughout Canada.

This year, we couldn't be more excited to announce that we are offering more performance opportunities for our PULSE Productions Musical Theatre Class. Students will learn not one but two musicals! Matilda will be taught in September, performing in December 2025 and The Wizard of Oz will begin in January, performing in May 2026. We have waited years to bring these Musicals to our program and this will be the year!
